Manuscript Evaluation

You will receive a detailed editorial letter with insightful, actionable feedback for your manuscript, along with inline comments and suggestions within your document to highlight examples, areas of concern, consistent errors, and strengths in your writing mechanics. 

Here are some of the things I'll be evaluating:

• Plot: are your story goals clear and accomplished? Are there any plot holes? 
• Pacing: does your story progress naturally? Do parts feel rushed or lagging?
• Character arcs:  do your characters grow and develop with the story?
• Flow: is the narrative clear and easy to understand? Is there anything likely to pull the reader out of the story?

I will also be looking at consistency, redundancy, tense, POV, genre expectations, syntax, spelling, punctuation, grammar, etc.
